Embark on a thrilling climbing adventure to Mera and Island Peaks through the challenging Amphu Lapcha pass. This trek offers an incredible opportunity to climb two of the most famous peaks in Nepal. With its high altitude and rugged terrain, this trip is not for the faint-hearted. However, with our expertly curated itinerary, proper acclimatization, and appropriate safety measures, climbing these peaks is an achievable goal.
Our journey begins with a hike through the less-trodden Hinku to Imjatse valleys in Everest. We take the longer route to Mera Peak, which leads us through lush rhododendrons and pine forests, offering breathtaking views of the Makalu region. Standing at an impressive height of 6460 meters, the Mera summit promises a thrilling and unforgettable experience. After the easy Mera summit, we head east to Amphu Captcha, hiking through less used trails to the wilderness of Makalu region.
Our next challenge is crossing the rugged Amphu Labtsa en route to Island Peak. This pass requires some technical climbing ability, but our climbing guides team fixes ropes where needed, making the descent safe and easy. The compact blue glacier ice sections and abseil on the rocky crest are safe, and Island Peak, though smaller than Mera, requires some technical skills. However, by now, you will be well-trained and acclimatized to face the challenge.

.We organize special climbing training courses at the base camp, where you will learn to use climbing gear and safety skills for climbing. We provide all the personal and group climbing gear, including climbing boots, carabiners, Jumar, harnesses, helmets, rope, etc. Our experienced, medically trained, and reliable guide leads your trip, ensuring maximum safety.
.                                                                                              On this trip, we stay on a combination of a tea house and  tented camp. We have full board meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as prepared by our cook. We carry an Oxygen tank and first aid kit as a safety backup and have a satellite phone for emergencies on this remote and challenging trip.
Our set departure dates for the spring and autumn season in 2023 and 2024 are open for booking, and we are flexible with customizing the itinerary for groups of trekkers.
.                                         In summary, this Twin Peaks expedition climb with challenging Amphu Laptcha pass is a strenuous trekking and climbing trip to Mera and Island peaks. It offers stunning Himalayan scenery and is an adventure of a lifetime. We follow a responsible adventure policy of 1 Trekker:1 Porter, providing proper safety backup, including a medical box and Oxygen. Our climbing clinic course before the summit push ensures a notable summit success rate on Trekking peak climbing.
