Lobuche Peak Climbing offers a great opportunity for 6000 m. of trekking peak climbing, combined with a hike to EBC. This Lobuche East peak is situated between the Chola Pass and Everest base camp. Lobuche has twin peaks on the east and west sides known as Lobuche East and West Peaks. We climb the eastern side peak known as Lobuche East, which is categorized as a trekking peak. The western peak is expedition-style, so prior climbing experience is required.
Our itinerary allows for enough time to get acclimatized before the summit push. We climb to the southern Base Camp at an altitude of 5500 meters. Here, we can see stunning views of Amadablam, Tawache, and many more spectacular mountains. The breathtaking views of Mt. Everest and the parade of peaks from the Lobuche summit are truly remarkable. We reach the summit with some difficulty by gaining the notch and a short descent. Then we climb steep snowy slopes to the fantastic top.
Climbing Training and Gear
A Climbing Clinic course is held at the base camp. Our experienced climbing guide organizes it to ensure that you acquire the necessary skills and confidence to achieve your goal. You don’t need prior climbing experience to join this Lobuche East peak climbing. However, an excellent outdoor experience and a sound fitness level are necessary. The fitter you are, the more you will enjoy your adventure. Thus, this Lobuche peak climbing offers an excellent opportunity for trekking and climbing in the glorious Everest region.
Climb Lobuche East with Proper Safety
We stay at a local tea house while trekking up to the base camp of Lobuche Peak. Once we get to the base camp, away from the tea house, we will have a tented camp to stay in during the climb. Our cook prepares all the meals at 5000 meters elevation, even in extreme surroundings. While staying at the teahouse in the trekking section, the teahouse cook prepares all the meals. Of course, full board meals include breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We carry Oxygen with a first aid kit as a safety backup. We have enough trek crew, including a porter for each trekker. Your porter will be carrying less weight than others.
