About Trek
Nepal located in South Asia, is a unique destination that offers a range of activities for holiday-goers. If you’re planning a romantic getaway or honeymoon, Nepal could be one of the most incredible destinations in the world.
The honeymoon trek is a mix of adventure and sightseeing that explores the trekking routes of the Myagdi and Mustang districts in Nepal.
The trip begins with a tour of Kathmandu city, which boasts a large number of temples, palaces, and historical relics, and was also a center of the Hippie revolution during the 1970s.
The second leg of the trip takes you to the Mustang region via Pokhara. Muktinath is a popular religious destination that attracts thousands of pilgrims each year, who make the journey to the temple on foot.
The short trek to and from Muktinath prepares you for the third leg of the trip towards Ghorepani, a hilly region located inside the Annapurna Conservation Area (ACAP) in Myagdi district. Ghorepani also serves as a transit point to the Annapurna Base Camp.
The honeymoon trek is of moderate difficulty and may require a fair level of fitness. The hike takes around 5-6 hours a day, and the maximum altitude remains at around 4000-4500 meters.
