Before embarking on the trek, you will be taken to your hotel in Kathmandu, where you will have time to prepare for the journey ahead. DETAIL ITINERARY OF DHAULAGIRI CIRCUIT TREK

Day 1:

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representatives will greet you warmly before escorting you to your hotel. After a brief introduction, you can relax at the hotel before enjoying a local group welcome dinner in the evening. You will also meet the team who will guide you through the Dhaulagiri trek and have the opportunity to try some delicious Nepalese cuisine. Accommodation will be provided at a hotel with an altitude of 1340m.

 
Day 2:
After breakfast, you will embark on an exciting cultural heritage tour of Kathmandu, the capital city, with our guides. You will visit important landmarks such as Pashupatinath and Boudhanath Stupa, which are listed on the UNESCO World Heritage list. You will also have the opportunity to prepare for the trek, and if you need any necessary items, you can buy or rent them at shops around Thamel. Accommodation will be provided at a hotel with an altitude of 1340m and breakfast will be served.
 
Day 3:
You will start early on this day and arrive at your hotel in a private vehicle before heading to the Prithvi Highway for a scenic drive to Beni. You will see the lush green hills and a breathtaking view of the Trishuli River. You will also see the Machhapuchhre and Annapurna ranges as you enter Pokhara Valley. It will take another 3-hour drive from the city of Pokhara to reach Beni, where you will stay overnight at a tea house with an altitude of 900m. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be served.
 
Day 4-10:
The trek to the Italian base camp will give you a chance to admire the stunning beauty of the Himalayan peaks, such as Churen Himal, Gurja, Ghustung South, Tsarabang, Jirbang, and Manapati. You will start your journey from Beni and enter the Dhaulagiri region. On the fourth day, you will follow the Myagdi Khola river and reach Babiachor (950m), where you will spend the night. The next day, you will continue along the riverbank, passing through villages like Singha Bazar, Babiachor, and Baguwa. After crossing the Duk Khola river, you will see the landscape change into terraced fields. You will end the day at Dharapani (1560m), after walking through several villages. From here, the trail will go deeper into the valley and become steeper. You will cross the Dhara Khola river and climb up to the Magar village of Muri (1720m), where you will stay on the sixth day. You will also pass by the villages of Sibang and Mattim on the way.

On the seventh day, you will descend and cross the Myading Khola river, where you will catch a glimpse of Ghustung South and Jirbang mountains. Then you will ascend through green grasslands with steep slopes to reach Bagar (2080m), where you will spend the night. On the eighth day, you will walk through lush forests and terraced fields, as well as some rocky areas, to get to Doban Kharka (2520m), where you will stay overnight. On the ninth day, you will enjoy scenic views of Dhaulagiri I as you walk through forests along the Myagdi Khola river. You will also cross more forest areas before arriving at Choriban Khola (3110m). From this day onwards, you will camp overnight. On the tenth day, you will climb to Italian Base Camp via the moraines of Chhonbardan Glacier. You will spend two days at this base camp, with one day for acclimatization. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided, and accommodation will be a combination of tents and lodges.

Day 11-12: Hike to Dhaulagiri Depot (4200 m) after the acclimatization rest day.
 
Once you reach the Italian Base Camp, you will spend a day acclimatizing. The week-long trek to the base camp can be tiring, so you can rest before heading out on a short hike to the surrounding area. The view of the mountains from this base camp is mesmerizing. To acclimatize to higher elevations, you can hike to nearby regions and do some physical activities.
 
On the twelfth day, you will head to the next camp called Glacier Camp, the Japanese camp. The trail steeply descends into an area filled with moraines and glaciers. You must cross the Chhonbardan Glacier to reach the Glacier Camp. You will stay in a tented camp overnight.

Day 13: Climbing to Dhaulagiri Base Camp.
Today, you will ascend to Dhaulagiri Base Camp. The trail to the base camp is a bit rough and is usually covered with moraines and glaciers. Along the way, you will see the magnificent Dhaulagiri I to IV, along with other smaller peaks. You will also see glimpses of the Dhaulagiri Icefall. You have time to explore the surroundings. You will stay in a tented camp overnight.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Altitude: 4750 m
 
Day 14: Climb to Hidden Valley camp (5,025m), and cross the challenging French pass.
The trail will take you on a walk along the glacier and moraines, opening to an ablation valley. Be careful as you walk on icy and slippery trails. After a short time, you will have to ascend to French Pass. From the pass, the splendid views of Mukut Himal, Tukuche Peak, Dhaulagiri I, and many more will amaze you. All the mountains visible from this pass surround the Hidden Valley. Finally, the trail goes to the valley’s edge, and you head to Thapa Pass (5,244 m). From there, you descend to the valley and find a suitable spot to camp overnight.

Day 15-16: Hiking to Yak Kharkha, cross the Dhampus pass.
On the fifteenth and sixteenth day, you will explore the Hidden Valley and then trek to Yak Kharka via Dhampus Pass. The ascend to the Dhampus pass is a bit strenuous, so you must start climbing early in the morning. Along the way, you can see the spectacular views of Dhampus Peak and Tukuche Peak. The scenery gets more stunning once you reach the pass. Then, you gradually descend from the pass that takes you into the Kali Gandaki Valley. Finally, you arrive at Yak Kharka for overnight camping.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner    
 
Day 17–23: Drive to Pokhara and stay at a hotel before descending to Nayapul via the well-known Poon Hill.
You will descend to lower levels and take in the beautiful vegetation starting on the seventeenth day. After that, you’ll drive through towns like Jharkot and Khingar as you descend sharply to the Kali Gandaki gorge. As you enter the valley, you will see how Tibetan culture and architecture have influenced local design. Jomsom (2,670 m) is where you spend the night on the seventeenth day. You visit the adjacent village of Marpha (2,665 m) on the eighteenth day to savor the apples. During these two days, you can socialize with members of the local community and other hikers. Ultimately, on the nineteenth day, you will go up the Kali Gandaki to Lete (2,470 m).    
 
Day 24-25
After completing the long trek, you can enjoy a free day in Pokhara before returning to Kathmandu. You can choose to drive or take a flight back to Kathmandu, where you will have an additional day to explore the city. You will be accommodated in a hotel, and breakfast will be provided during your stay. The altitude at Kathmandu is 1340m.
 
Day 26: 
On this day, your Dhaulagiri Circuit Trek will come to an end, and you will depart from Nepal. Our representatives will drop you off at the airport after providing breakfast.
