Our 4-day climbing itinerary is designed for those who wish to do the guided climbing section only. You can hike independently at your own pace to the base camp, and we will take care of all the logistics and provide all the necessary gear and equipment for the expedition. We check your climbing boots in Kathmandu before you take off your flight to Lukla, ensuring that your capped boots are available at the base camp before you reach there. Our cook prepares all the meals, and our experienced climbing guide will customize the climbing training to give you the required skills to summit the peak safely and successfully.
You can join us at the base camp on your date, or you can choose from our confirmed group joining trip dates to climb Island Peak. Our exceptional summit success rate with the most experienced climbing guide who climbed it more than 200 times gives us an edge over others. Detail Itinerary
Day 1: preparation for the trek to the island peak base camp at Chukhung, altitude 5550 M
Day 2: Trek to the Island Peak base camp, altitude 5,087 m (16,690 ft)
Day 3: summiting the Island Peak (6170m) and returning to Chhukung
Day 4: final departure
On the day 1, you’ll meet the climbing sherpa guide at Chukhung for the IP plan, gear check, and trip preparation for the trek to the island peak base camp. The meeting lodge name will be mentioned before the trip starts in Kathmandu. No meals or accommodation are included in the package for this day.

Trek to the Island Peak base camp. This will take approximately 4-5 hours. Upon arrival at the base camp, some basic training will be provided for using gear, ropes, and other equipment. The day will be spent acclimatizing at the base camp. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided in a tented camp.

The day for summiting the Island Peak (6170m) and returning to Chhukung. The summiting is subject to weather conditions and the physical condition of climbers. The ascent will typically begin at 2 am from the base camp and return to Chhukung by evening. The day will be long and exhausting, but three meals and accommodation at a lodge in Chhukung will be provided.
