About Trek
The Amadablam Base Camp Trek is a remarkable journey that takes you to one of the world’s most beautiful peaks, Mt Amadablam. This trek is undoubtedly one of the most fascinating trips in the Everest region, offering breathtaking views of Mount Everest and the unforgettable scenery of its base camp. The pristine lake at the base camp surrounded by Himalayan peaks is simply stunning.
Although the base camp of the beautiful Amadablam peak is on the Everest base camp trek route, it is still less trodden, which means only a few trekkers have known about it and visited it. As you embark on this incredible journey, you will fly to Lukla (2827 meters) with spectacular views of the mountains. From Lukla, you will hike through the Dudh Koshi valley to the Sherpa settlement of Namche Bazaar (3440 meters).
You will spend two nights in Namche for proper acclimatization and exploration. Further, trekking through the lovely forest to the world-renowned and sacred monastery of Thyangboche is rewarding. It displays the stunning views of Everest soaring behind Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Kangtega, and Tawache, making a panoramic Himalayan vista. Finally, you will ascend from Pangboche to the alpine camp on the flanks of the base camp of Amadablam.
This is far from the popular trail to savor the Himalayas’ wonder. Along the way, you will visit the traditional Sherpa village of Khumjung, which will give you a glimpse of the Sherpa lifestyle and the so-called Yeti scalp in a monastery.
To ensure your safety and comfort during the trek, we provide an experienced and medically trained trek guide to lead your trip to the Amadablam base camp trek in the Everest region. We also offer enough trek crew and porter safety backup with Oxygen cylinder with regular while on high altitude trek.
The trip duration is two weeks, and we have both fixed and customized departure dates available. Our responsible trekking policy of 1 Trekker: 1 Porter ensures that we take care of the environment and the local communities. You will also get a full board meal and accommodation on your trek.
